One of the best coffee shop vibes in town right in the heart of Flagler Ave, NSB's beachside downtown. Take a break and walk down to the waves, buy a burrito if you're hungry, and enjoy fairly reliable wifi on a swinging wood bench seat.

Luma Cafe is a great stop while walking Flagler Avenue in New Smyrna Beach. We came for lunch and I had the smoked salmon bagel, while my friend ordered the BLT and drinks. Everything is outdoor seating with a tiki-style gazebo, swing chairs, and even games like cornhole. It feels more like a beach hangout than just a café. Since Flagler Avenue is right next to the beach, this is an easy and convenient place to stop during a beach day.

First time here and certainly will not be the last!! Outdoor venue with swings, counter service and a cozy courtyard. How can you not enjoy a cafe, latte, cappuccino or a glass of wine or cold IPA?? SO CHILL, the vibe is infectious. Service is fast, friendly and focused on customer satisfaction. Always a line, but moves quickly. Egads, this proprietor will flourish and it's steps from the beach!!! 🥰🥰🥰

Although this spot is just walking distance from the beach, has plenty of space, and is well decorated, I would not recommend. I spent about $25 on a “Brown Sugar” coffee that did not have any taste to that at all & instead tasted like old coffee mixed with water. Additionally, the bagel/sandwich I bought just felt like it was from a microwaveable breakfast meal (from the taste to the texture). To make things even worse, I had the pleasure (not) of hearing the cashiers bad mouth the customer in front of me. They were upset she didn’t pay & showed no patience with her although I saw her tap and sign to pay which could have been an error with their system. Extremely unprofessional.

Today I was in the mood for something light for breakfast. I ordered the Tuscan Caprese Classic salad and added a baguette on the side. It was absolutely delicious! To make it even better, the atmosphere was very relaxing, they had soft jazz music playing, and I stayed nice and warm thanks to the heaters. Such a lovely way to start the day!

Nice outdoor relaxed atmosphere. Borderline unwelcoming barista/staff. Good iced Americano. Very bad freezer burned pistachio gelato that they charge $5.50 for one scoop. They brag it has imported ingredients from Italy so yeah it should be good right?? Zoom in on it. So bad. I even let it warm up but still tasted horrible. Come for coffee and that's about it. The outdoor lounge area has potential and I give them a B+ for effort but it feels cheaply done especially the large billboard for a local realtor. This local probably won't go back.
