NSB Coworking started with a simple, repeated frustration: you move to a beach town to work remotely, and then you spend weeks figuring out which café actually has usable WiFi, which one has outlets that aren't all claimed by 8am, and which one turns into a blender of noise at lunch. We kept texting each other the answers, so we built a public list instead.
Every spot on this site has been visited in person. Nothing here is generated from scraped reviews or an AI summary. A human sat down with a laptop, ordered something, connected to the WiFi, looked for an outlet, and took notes. Those notes become the ratings you see: WiFi strength, outlet availability, indoor and outdoor seating, atmosphere (how loud the room actually is), vibe (the decor and general feel of the place), and tastiness (whether the food and coffee are worth your money). Those inputs combine into a single 10-point WFH Score so you can scan the list quickly.
We also track the weather, because a huge share of remote work here happens outdoors. The Work Outside Score reads live temperature, heat index, humidity, precipitation chance, wind, and UV, and turns them into a 0-10 rating for whether today is actually pleasant for laptop work on a patio. Weather data is provided by Open-Meteo.
We favor local, independent businesses and label franchises clearly so you can choose. Listings include live opening hours pulled from Google, an Open Now filter, and a map view. When a spot closes permanently, we retire it from the public list rather than leaving stale information up.
NSB Coworking is published by Salt & Wisdom, a small studio based in New Smyrna Beach.
