How We Calculate the WFH Score

We pull the spot's Google Maps rating (out of 5 stars) and double it. Higher-rated places get more points.

Fast, reliable WiFi is essential for remote work. This is one of the most important factors in our scoring.

The overall feel of the space—decor, lighting, and cleanliness all factor in. A well-designed, inviting environment makes work sessions more enjoyable.

Good food and drinks make long work sessions more pleasant. We rate the menu quality.

Calm environments score highest. Moderate noise is fine. Very active or boisterous spots lose points—it's hard to focus in chaos!

Ample seating both indoors and outdoors gets full points. Having options (one ample, one limited) still scores well.

Power access is helpful for long sessions, though many folks bring their own portable chargers these days.

We give a bonus to locally-owned spots. Supporting small businesses in NSB is part of what makes this community great!
